Less is more

The average webpage is 2,200kB.

Every page in this site is less than 15kB.
Including all images, styling, code, icons - everything.

How is this possible? Creativity & bespoke elegant code with no frameworks, libraries or dependencies. Why you ask? I like a good challenge, but also because the TCP slow start algorithm on most web servers returns the first 10 packets almost instantaneously. 1 TCP packet contains 1460 bytes of content in addition to its header. Thus, the first 14.6kB of a webpage will typically load up to 10x faster.
